Wright Firearms Training provides Illinois Concealed Carry training in Central Illinois for students looking for practical, professional instruction.
Our Illinois CCL program includes the required classroom training and live-fire qualification. Current training locations include Carlock, Illinois and Atlanta, Illinois.
WFT's goal is to provide clear instruction, practical skills and a student-focused training experience rather than simply getting students through a minimum requirement.
Illinois CCL Training
- 16-hour Illinois Concealed Carry course (Saturday & Sunday) — $100
- 3-hour Illinois CCL renewal training — $55
- 8-hour military exemption training (DD214 required) — $65
- Live-fire qualification
- Certificate issued upon successful completion
- Small-class, student-focused instruction

Wright Firearms Training serves students throughout Central Illinois, including the Clinton-area region and surrounding communities.
Live-Fire Qualification
The Illinois qualification is 30 rounds: 10 at 5 yards, 10 at 7 yards and 10 at 10 yards. The passing standard is 70% — at least 21 of 30 rounds in the black.
Registering
Registration asks for your driver's license, FOID card (if you have one), current CCL for renewals, DD214 for the military exemption, any health or accommodation information staff should know, and your acknowledgment of the prepayment, no-show/nonrefundable, unsafe-conduct removal, assumption-of-risk and range safety policies. Payment is required in advance to reserve a seat. Online registration generally closes at 11:00 PM (Central) the day before class.
Gun rental is available for $20, and 9mm ammunition is $16 per box.
